played their first gig on 14 July 2001 for a private party.

The audience of teachers (one of whom critised Ren's grammar!) really got into the faster numbers, finding them easy to dance to.

set list had to be ripped through when it was realised that no one wanted to rest, so the slower numbers were chucked out so a maximum of dancing could take place.

Popular numbers included The Flood (which already seemed to have a fan base) and Sloppy Kisses (a funky new number to be recorded soon), but the one that had everyone on the floor was loudest song, Leaving.

The crowd demanded give them two encores.
